Reach Cares
Reach Cares is one of Reach Education Fund programs, where college students and Reach Education Fund students/alumni will be able to compete for small grants to implement their innovatives, community service projects and networking activities.
Reach Cares holds two competitions a year (Summer and Winter); each competition ends up with four awarded grants. We determine certain themes for each competition based on the local and global issues in health and fitness, women empowerment, education, etc.
PROJECT AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Current college students and Reach Education Fund alumni are eligible to apply.
The requested grant must go toward materials or activities related to the implementation of the project only.
Each team must include both Reach Education Fund students/ alumni and non-Reach Education Fund students, and the total number of team members should not exceed 15.
Project implementation should not exceed 10 days unless there is a strong justification for a longer period.
Teams who will successfully implement their projects are required to fill the Final Project Report provided.
West Bank and Gaza strip mutual projects are highly encouraged.

Winning Initiatives in the Summer Session 2020
Initiative
The initiative enhances the knowledge of university students from various majors about scientific research by giving them educational sessions managed by specialist researchers, so that the project would be an incubator for scientific research.
Initiative
It enhances vocational awareness for kids by familiarizing students from elementary schools with broad areas of work and expanding their knowledge about professions and their future. That took place by holding meetings and awareness activities in Gaza Strip schools and a concluding exhibition, where there were professionals from various fields to educate students about professions and make the ideas easier to understand.
Initiative
The initiative combined education and playing by teaching preschool students, professional thinking techniques, designing algorithms, programming their own games using prepared codes on the (Hour of Code) website and sharing them with their friends.
Initiative
The initiative raises the awareness of high school students, principals and teachers, of the importance of updated knowledge and globally-needed skills and majors as well as their impact on societies and their development. It also supports the perspective that states "what makes a student valuable is being distinguished, not joining the top colleges". The initiative was a summer camp targeting a group of distinguished students, engaging them in a special skills training program.
